Booking flights now even easier
Online Payment

The simple things in life are often the best. If you're a Qantas Frequent Flyer, you can now save your credit or debit card details for the next time you book a flight.

Save your card and save time.

It's that simple.

How to store your credit or debit card

Simply log in using your Frequent Flyer account, and then when paying for your flight booking, elect to 'Save card details'. You can save up to three cards in total, one at a time, for future flight payments.*

It's never been so easy to book flights at qantas.com.

How to update your card details

Frequent Flyers can edit or delete stored cards by logging in to their Frequent Flyer profile. Simply select 'Your Profile' from the left hand navigation panel, click on the 'Payment Cards' tab and edit or delete your stored card details.

If you are having difficulties editing or deleting a stored card, please send an email to Onlinesales Queries (In English) and we will delete the card details for you. For security reasons we are unable to edit the details. When sending an email, please include the following details in order for us to action your request:

  • First Name and Surname
  • Frequent Flyer Number
  • Type of credit [or debit card] to be deleted i.e Visa, American Express, Debit MasterCard
  • Nickname of card i.e Work Amex, Home Visa

For security reasons please do not send your card number or any other card details in your email to us.

* There is a maximum limit of 20 characters for the name assigned to the details of each stored debit or credit card (collectively, “cards”). If more than one Frequent Flyer is in the booking, the card is stored against the logged in Frequent Flyer's membership number only. If you do not wish to store your card information for future bookings, please do not tick the box during the booking process. To see and use a stored card, you must be logged in to the Frequent Flyer profile against which that card was stored. Expired stored cards will not be visible on the payment page when making a future booking.

Security

If you elect to store your card information for future use against your Frequent Flyer membership number (either during the booking process or by clicking on the 'Payment Cards' tab) these details are encrypted through HTTPS protocol and then sent from qantas.com to Amadeus, Qantas' external booking engine service provider. Your credit card information will be stored on Amadeus' secure platform and in accordance with the Qantas Privacy and Security Policy.
