Qantas Indigenous University Cadetship

In conjunction with DEEWR (Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations), Qantas offers Indigenous university students a range of University Cadetships at Qantas. The Cadetship allows students to complete 12 weeks of paid work experience per year at Qantas (the 12 week placement may also be broken into blocks, i.e. 3 x 4 weeks).

As a Cadet, you gain real work experience and an income from Qantas while still at university, plus a DEEWR-funded study allowance. A Cadetship can be commenced at any stage of your studies, but the work experience should relate directly to the area of study.

Following the Cadetship, students may apply for the Qantas Graduate Program or for any advertised role at Qantas.
