The National Gallery of Australia is hosting the first major retrospective in Australia of the art of renowned French 19th century artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. The exhibition features more than 100 paintings, drawings, posters and prints, drawn from 30 major international collections, including the Tate and the British Museum, London, the Musée Toulouse-Lautrec, Albi and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York as well as significant private collections from around the world.
Lautrec's art is not well represented in Australian collections and this is an opportunity for audiences to see an extensive and thorough examination of Toulouse-Lautrec's art
