C130H Program - Richmond, NSW

QDS has a focused business unit that specialises in Depot level maintenance, repair and modification of C130H aircraft including structural and mechanical components.

The facilities are located on Royal Australian Air Force Base at Richmond on the north western outskirts of Sydney at the foot of the beautiful Blue Mountains. Approximately 200 Qantas Defence Services personnel are employed at RAAF Base Richmond providing C130H support services.

Comprehensive engineering, logistics and warehouse services are maintained to fully support the C130H maintenance program. The Maintenance program is sustained by highly experienced aircraft technicians recruited from around the world and trained locally through a comprehensive Apprentice Training Scheme.

The Richmond facility is the Deeper Maintenance venue supporting the RAAF's fleet of C130H.
