Following are the style specifications used in qantas.com: The Qantas website browser based font is Verdana.
To control the visual delivery of qantas.com to various browser setups we use style sheets and the use of standardized fonts.
The default font-family specified for qantas.com: Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, and Sans Serif.

Graphic Fonts
Its best practise to use browser fonts where possible for assesibility and Search Engine Optimization.
Graphical fonts are smoother and cleaner than browser based fonts, and they allow the true form of the fonts and their character spacing to be rendered to screen. As noted earlier it is important not to use them on screen at small sizes as they can break-up and become illegible. Note that whenever graphical text is required it will have an impact on file/page size, so please use sparingly.
It is important to adhere to the following font guidelines when creating graphical text for qantas.com.
QF Spirit
QF Spirit is the primary Qantas typeface. This typeface has been custom designed to reflect a contemporary and modern Australian design ethic. The roundness of the characters reference the softer lines of Marc Newson’s designs. QF Spirit is available in 4 weights allowing for customised typographic hierarchies depending on use.
QF Spirit can be use as graphical text or embedding as a browser font. Embedding this font can create various results depeding on what browser you use, but should not be embedded any smaller than 16px. To get QF Spirit font, contact Hal Caldwell halcaldwell@qantas.com.au

Flash Fonts
The Qantas font commonly used for flash demonstrations or applications is 'Verdana'. Qantas Spirit is also used for larger headings.
