qantas.com promotions sit along the bottom of the homepage, above the footer. They also sit on other inside pages on the left side within the grey area .

Homepage Promotions
Promotions are image only and sit within a black html text area that allows 2 lines of text to be seen and once rolled over another 2 lines.

The images are 160 x 140px and 42px of the bottom of the image will be covered in the black so best to have the main image above the bottom 42px.

  • No text on image unless a logo
  • Colour preference for clean, simple backgrounds however if required coloured backgrounds can be used if in the brands masterbrand colours. Read more about photographic styles
  • Logos allowed, unless too small to read

'New' Feature for Promotions
These new graphics are added to new promotions.

English 'New' Graphics:
The english 'New' graphic is added by the Content Team through Teamsite.



Foreign 'New' Graphics:
The foreign 'New' graphics are added manually on the image rather than through teamsite.

Add the region code at the end to make it clear when we've got promos with the new overlay in a specific language.

For example:
salename-new-jp.jpg
salename-new-zh-cn.jpg

The templates have these codes in the filenames.

As a rule we won't allow more than one word in this diagonal format on promos.
